Research Interests

Dr Jenkins is the Principal Investigator on several trials, including the current C9orf72 antisense oligonucleotide trial in genetic motor neuron disease.

Current research interests include applications of advanced imaging techniques, such as 31-phosphorus spectroscopy and whole-body muscle imaging to investigate energy dynamics and patterns of damage in neurodegenerative diseases; translation of neurological care models to developing countries; and neurological complications of COVID-19 infection.
